For venues

• Send a letter to the Board of the Association of Event Planners and Venues of San Miguel de Allende, A.C., stating your interest in joining and describing your business, approximate annual event volume, location, capacity, services, and start-of-operations date.
• Send proof of tax status. The business address must be registered in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
• Attach a copy of the land-use permit authorizing events.
• Provide an official ID for the venue owner or legal representative.

For planners

• Send a letter to the Board of the Association of Event Planners and Venues of San Miguel de Allende, A.C., stating your interest in joining and describing your business, approximate annual event volume, services, and start-of-operations date.
• Send proof of tax status. The business address must be registered in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
• Send three recommendation letters from venues located in San Miguel de Allende.
• Have produced at least ten events per year at venues in San Miguel de Allende.
• Provide an official ID for the owner or legal representative.
